The cabins water system is based on that of a large touring caravan. Clean water enters the system at one point and is then distributed via an electric pump to the cabins sinks and shower. The water supply is via rainwater harvesting. The water is collected on the roof of the cabin, then passing through through four graduated filters into a food grade plastic storage tank. From here it is pumped directly to the shower and hot water taps, the cold kitchen tap supply passes through an additional carbon filter before reaching the sink .
